Why choose the Burness Paull Summer Vacation Scheme?
We believe the best way to figure out if a career in law is right for you is to experience it.
Our four-week-long paid Summer Vacation Scheme is open to all aspiring to be the top lawyers in the market.
During your vacation scheme, you’ll work within two key practice areas: Corporate, Dispute Resolution or Property & Infrastructure. You’ll also be involved in training sessions with our Knowledge and Development Lawyers, which will give you an insight into all our practice areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to secure a Traineeship with Burness Paull for 2025, 2026, and 2027.
To be eligible, you must be in 3rd year or above studying Scots Law LLB or in your first year or above of the accelerated LLB. Diploma students are also welcome to apply!
However, if you’re in 1st or 2nd year of your Scots LLB, we have our fantastic Insight events you can attend where you can gain a unique understanding of the dynamics of a career in a top-tier commercial law firm.
