Global Technology teams design, develop, and support the applications that underpin the bank’s full range of products and services across more than 30 countries. Our technologists work closely with both technical and business partners to deliver high-quality, scalable and secure systems that support the bank’s strategic goals.
Programme Overview
The Software Engineering Insight Programme is a one-day, in-person experience designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in software engineering within financial services.
What to expect
- Learn about Bank of America, our culture and our Global Technology organisation
- Understand the role of software engineers within a global financial institution
- Take part in a team-based hackathon focused on collaborative problem-solving (You will need to bring your own laptop)
- Meet and network with technologists, interns, and early career software engineers
- Receive guidance on the Software Engineering Industrial Placement programme and recruitment process
Eligibility
- Candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate or integrated master’s degree and returning to their penultimate year of university in September 2026, with a 6-month Software Engineering Industrial Placement starting in either January or March 2027 as part of their academic programme.
- Attained a minimum of 112 UCAS points at A levels or equivalent
