Meet the Speakers:
Panayiotis Stergiou is the Global Head of Institutional Client Group, Global Corporate Coverage & Co-Head of FIC Structuring. Panos joined Deutsche Bank in 2004 as a graduate, and grew to various leadership roles, including Global Head of Rates ICG Sales in 2015, and Head of Europe ICG Sales in 2018. Panos is a member of the Investment Bank Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) Executive Council, the Corporate Bank Executive Council, the European Executive Council and of the board of Deutsche Bank in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Panos grew up in Brussels and attended the European School of Brussels. Following that, he studied at Imperial College, where he attained a First-Class Honours MEng degree in Information Systems Engineering.
Marios Paparistodemou is the Global Head of Macro Liability Structuring & Global Co-Head of Rates Structuring. Marios is a native of Cyprus and has graduated with an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering (First Class) from Imperial College in 1997, followed by a PhD in Quantitative Finance also from Imperial College in 2002. After a short time in academia as a Researcher he has joined the Finance industry in London as a Derivatives specialist with PwC and then as a Quantitative Analyst with Morgan Stanley before moving to structuring since 2006, initially at Morgan Stanley and then with Nomura International. Marios joined Deutsche Bank in 2022 as Global Head of Macro Liability Structuring and is working with Corporate, Sovereign and Supra clients globally to provide risk management solutions (across Rates, FX and GEM).
