The Commercial Sales Team
Manage our customer relationships to maintain and grow revenue and profit within each customer area. For a six month period you will work within a team that has full accountability for developing the strategic plan for their accounts to drive sales, profit and net working capital, exceeding targets in all categories across the account portfolios and managing the P&Ls from 'top to bottom'.

You will have an opportunity to take responsibility for projects on leading brands, and you will be a fully operational member of the team with the responsibility that goes with that.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
· Developing & maintaining complex excel based tools that help to identify revenue & optimisation opportunities
· Developing end to end processes to guide the sales & trade marketing functions towards clear, actionable opportunities
· Working with multiple stakeholders to maintain local & global reporting suites
· Develop & maintain structure & tools for long-term sales business initiatives
· Support a team of Account Managers through Nielsen analysis for market dynamics
· Support a team of account managers through rigorous analysis of sales trends and reporting on the performance in store and online feature and promotions.
· Receive support from a dedicated one to one line manager who will be responsible for your ongoing development as part of your internship
· Have the opportunity to be fast tracked to a final interview for the 2027 Reckitt commercial grad scheme or be considered for a full time role at the end of the internship, all dependent on performance.
Our interns will be working on projects that provide:
· Analytical skills
· Hands-on commercial exposure e.g. to new product launches, in-store/online promotional activities etc.
· Maintenance of system integrity for given account team
· Assisting the wider Sales team in data entry, maintenance and accuracy and support the Commercial Analysts in generation of data analysis and insights
· Facilitation of customer relationship building
· "Learning through doing” within a supportive coaching framework
· Correcting in-store and shipment dates
· Raising detail for invalid customer claims
· Following up and fact gathering for specific tasks – e.g. open liabilities
· Support Managers in the Annual planning process – listing all new Product Developments in to customers
· You will also have exposure to other functional areas including – Sales, Finance and Supply.
What are we looking for?
· A talented graduate or 3rd year university student due to graduate in Spring 2026 with the determination and motivation to gain industry experience to set them up for a successful career (providing the potential candidate has and can demonstrate the below skills, the degree subject is not a factor, though the content and wider setting of this role would make it particularly applicable to those studying Business Studies/Management (or Business joint honours with another specialism, especially Marketing), Data Analysis or Sales and Marketing/Management
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw insights from data
· Confident, people-orientated and a team-player; this role will be stakeholder facing – sometimes up to a very senior level – so the incumbent should be comfortable with presenting and communicating with individuals at all levels
· Someone who strives for excellence, always seeks new opportunities and better ways of working and has a proactive approach to day-to-day work
· This role will be based in our Slough HQ 3 days a week
