What's This Session About?
The event will feature a panel discussion with colleagues from across the business who identify as coming from a lower socio-economic background. You will hear about their personal and professional journeys, their experiences of working at Ashurst Perkins Coie, and their advice for aspiring lawyers. You will also have the chance to put your own questions to the panel.
What We'll Cover:
Our panellists will begin by sharing their career journeys, including what they studied, where they went to university and the paths their careers have taken, before discussing what motivated them to pursue law, when they made that decision and whether they considered other paths along the way. You'll pick up practical advice on standing out in applications and interviews, as well as the key skills that can help you succeed in a legal career.
